Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) public relations Manager, Desmond Katongo has urged the football club management to invest more in their players if they desire to win games in the coming season.
Katongo says it is important for football club owners, their respective coaching benches and players alike to invest more of their time and resources if they are to win the coming league.
“The respective Football clubs should particularly take keen interest in investing in more skilled players in order to win the super league competition, “he said.
Katongo says as additional super league sponsors are already on board, the coming soccer season will be more competitive through increased award prizes for the winners of the season, saying this should become a catalyst for both players and coaching benches to put in their best.

And the Zambia Army sponsored side Green Buffaloes Football Club says it has intensified training ahead of the 2019 FAZ/MTN premier league.
Green Buffaloes Coach Bilton Musonda says his team is ready and fully equipped to win the premier league which commences next month.
Musonda adds that looking at the team’s performance in the four games it played, in the recent past, his lad are fully prepared for the league.
He says his coaching bench has worked on the striking force which he said has become sharper to win his side games this coming season.
And Green Eagle coach, Aggrey Chinyangi says having played in the CAF champion’s league tournament, his players are well prepared for the forthcoming super league.
Chinyangi added the exposure of playing international soccer has made both the coaching bench and the players, respectively, to well prepared this coming season.
“The players are well prepared with no challenges aiming higher this time unlike the ended super league performance that result the club being ranked fourth with 71 points, “said Chiyengi.
The Zambia National Service (ZNS) sponsored side for the first time ever made a maiden appearance at continental level to represent the country in CAF Champions league but were booted out in the second round when they lost 2-1 to Na Hussein Dey of Algeria.
